My fingers are flying faster than a Supply Runner in Hametsu Village! Must … post … last … column … before … tournament … starts!

The final column in this series focuses on charms available to students of the Balance school. If you are a student of the balance school, you should have each of these charms when you are finished training in Balance, without using training points. Students of other schools can access some of these charms via training points as stated in previous columns.

Students of other schools, beware! After reading this column, you very well may decide to add a Sorcerer to your classroom.

  1. Sorcerers: Precision. Zero pips, 100% accuracy. Adds 10% accuracy to next spell.
  2. Precision adds accuracy to ANY spell and it stacks. For example, if you are a Diviner you can cast Lightening Strike on yourself and then a Life friend could cast Guidance and a Balance Friend could cast Precision. Suddenly your 70% Kraken becomes 100%!
  3. Sorcerers: Weakness. Zero pips, 100% accuracy. Reduces damage of next spell from any school by 25%. Weakness is quite pesky when an enemy casts it upon you! I could devote an entire column to strategies that stop Weakness from defeating a setup, but not today.
  4. Sorcerers: Balance Blade. Zero pips, 100% accuracy. Boosts power of next damage spell by 25%
  5. Sorcerers: Black Mantle. Zero pips, 100% accuracy. Reduces accuracy of next enemy spell cat by 45%.
  6. Black Mantle stacks with Smoke Screen (Fire). A Sorcerer and a Pyromancer on the same team could be a true menace, especially in PvP!
  7. Sorcerers: Spirit Blade. One pip, 100% accuracy. Adds 35% boost to the next Death, Myth and Life Damage Spells.
  8. Sorcerers: Elemental Blade. One pip, 100% accuracy. Adds 35% boost to the next Fire, Ice, and Storm damage spells.
  9. Elemental and Spiritual Blades on minions. Sorcerers, I’d love to hear from you about using these blades on your minions. Do you find that it’s worth the pip to share?
  10. Cloak. Cloak is not a charm but it can be used to conceal charms Sorcerers cast. Sorcerers combine Cloak with a charm (or a trap) and, from my itel, it looks like a Black Mantle when cast. This is sneaky and devious and confuses the enemy. I have a little crush on this spell, as you can tell. Second spell crush in a week! Certainly gives Sorcerers an edge in today’s PvP tournament, because treasure cards are not allowed. Cloak is very hard to find in the Bazaar, so if you see one be sure to buy it!

Many thanks to Wolf RedFist for his help in putting this installment together. He answered at least a dozen questions from me about Balance charms. We also worked on several quests together, and he’s a great player who really makes the Balance school shine! Wolf wants to achieve Grand Master by Christmas, and I have no doubt he will get there! Wolf, the Icy Queen of Everything curtsies before you!

Fashion is NEVER off topic! Yes, I stitched Vestment of the Spring to a lovely GH outfit I found in the bazaar. It's a tip of my hat to Stormy Wiz, my son, who loves GH best of all the worlds. Then I dyed the front panel of the outfit gold. The boots are my Grand Master boots won in the battle to hatch the Drake Egg, last week. The hat is stitched as well, I can't remember the hat that provided the stats. Eloise earned her crowns with me!

    Hi Christina-
Unfortunately, the Ice Desk in our Grand Wizard Council was just filled today. I'm sorry, we really didn't give you anytime to fill up an application (we probably didn't even tell you what you had to do!), and just appointed this rep. However, I have decided that I am inviting a select group of Wizards to watch our meeting once we have decided when we are going to meet, and I would be thrilled if you could join us upon the to-be-decided date and time. Sorry for the inconvenience.
